10. Stir together,add little amount of water
11. Add Maggi and salt Then cover, cook for few seconds
12. Add Ugu leave And turn off the heat
13. The heat from stove will steam the Ugu.
14. For the Amala. Boil water In a pot
15. When it starts to boil add the flour and keep stirring

Ewedu is a traditional soup native to the Yoruba part of Nigeria it is often served with Amala or any other traditional swallow food like Eba, Pounded yam or fufu. My mom will always use the small traditional spoon to blend the ewedu until it becomes smooth. However, a blender will do this just fine. I miss Amala and ewedu, it's been a while.
